The terms on which you may use this website. They cover the website itself — survey work we carry out for you is governed by the quotation and agreement for that project.
This website is operated by GeoMaarga Engineering Survey Solutions, Bengaluru. By using it you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
1. What these terms cover
These terms apply to your use of geomaarga.com — reading it, browsing it and submitting an enquiry through it.
They do not govern survey services. If you engage us for a project, the scope, price, programme, accuracy, deliverables and liability for that work are set out in the quotation and any agreement you sign. Where those documents differ from anything on this website, those documents prevail.
2. Information on this site is general
We have written the content here to explain survey methods in plain language, and we have tried hard to make it technically accurate. It is general information, not engineering advice for your specific project.
Survey requirements depend on site conditions, tolerances, the design being produced and applicable standards. Nothing on this website should be relied on as a substitute for a project-specific assessment. Do not make design, construction or purchase decisions on the basis of these pages alone.
3. An enquiry is not a contract
Submitting the enquiry form, calling us or messaging us does not create a contract and does not oblige either of us to proceed. It is an invitation for us to quote.
A contract exists only once we have issued a quotation and you have accepted it in writing, or we have both signed an agreement. Prices, timelines and capabilities described anywhere on this site are indicative and are not offers.
4. How you may use this site
You may read the site, and print or save pages for your own reference.
You may not:
- Copy, republish or redistribute our content as your own, or for commercial gain
- Use our text, drawings, photographs, logo or brand name without written permission
- Scrape, harvest or systematically extract content, including for training machine-learning models
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or any system connected to it
- Introduce malicious code, or interfere with the site's operation for others
- Use the enquiry form to send spam, bulk marketing or anything unlawful
- Misrepresent your identity, or submit another person's details without their permission
5. Intellectual property
The content of this website — text, page structure, design, code, logo, and any drawings or photographs we publish — belongs to GeoMaarga Engineering Survey Solutions or is used by us with permission. It is protected by Indian and international copyright law.
The GeoMaarga name and logo are our marks. Please do not use them to imply an association, endorsement or partnership that does not exist.
Deliverables produced for a project — drawings, models, reports — are covered by the terms of that project agreement, not by this page.
6. Third-party links and services
We link to external websites where they are genuinely useful, and we use third-party services to run the site — a form provider and a font provider, both described in our Privacy Policy.
We do not control external sites and do not endorse their content. Once you follow a link away from here, their terms apply, not ours.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the site available and current, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice, including for maintenance. Content may become out of date between reviews.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website or reliance on its content. That includes loss of profit, loss of business, wasted expenditure and indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Our liability in respect of survey services is dealt with in the relevant project agreement.
9. Indemnity
If you use this site in breach of these terms and that causes us loss, damage or a claim from a third party, you agree to indemnify us against it.
10. Privacy
How we handle information you submit is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. Please also read our Disclaimer, particularly regarding survey accuracy and boundary work.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
12. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The version published here is the one that applies, and the date at the top shows when it last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
