The limits of what this website tells you, and the limits of what our survey work can be used for. Please read the section on boundaries particularly carefully.
We would rather set out these limitations plainly than bury them. Being clear about what a survey can and cannot establish prevents expensive misunderstandings later.
1. Website content is general information
The explanations on this site describe survey methods in general terms for a general audience. They are not engineering advice, and they are not a specification for your project.
We have written them carefully and believe them to be accurate, but survey practice depends on site conditions, project tolerances, applicable standards and the design being produced. No page here can account for your particular circumstances. Please do not make design, construction, procurement or purchase decisions on the basis of this website alone.
2. Boundary work — please read this
Our boundary work has no legal or cadastral authority
Any boundary identification, demarcation or marking we carry out is for engineering and construction purposes only. It is performed against documents and information you provide to us.
It does not constitute legal demarcation. It does not establish, confirm or alter title. It carries no cadastral authority and should not be presented as though it does — including in any dispute, transaction or proceeding.
Legal boundary determination and cadastral certification in India rest with the relevant government revenue authorities and with surveyors licensed under applicable state law. If you need a result with legal standing, you must approach them.
We are glad to explain what our boundary work can properly be used for before you commission it. Ask us rather than assume.
3. Survey accuracy
Every survey has a stated accuracy, and that accuracy depends on the method, the control network behind it, site conditions and the equipment used. Any figures mentioned on this website are indicative of what a method can typically achieve in good conditions.
The accuracy applicable to your project is the figure recorded in our quotation and in the survey report we issue — not a figure quoted on a marketing page. Where site conditions prevent us achieving a stated tolerance, we will tell you rather than report a number we cannot support.
No survey is exact. Every measurement carries uncertainty, and we report it rather than conceal it.
4. Drone operations
Drone survey in India is regulated, including by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, and airspace restrictions apply around airports, defence installations and other sensitive locations. What is permitted depends on the aircraft category, the operator's authorisations and the zone the site falls within.
We assess these constraints for each site and will tell you if a location cannot lawfully or practically be flown. Nothing on this website should be read as a representation that any particular site can be flown, or that any particular approval has been obtained.
Aerial mapping products depend on ground control, flight parameters and ground visibility. Photogrammetric surfaces record what is visible from above, which in vegetated areas is not the same as bare ground.
5. Deliverables and their use
Drawings, models, point clouds, orthomosaics and reports we produce are prepared for a specific purpose, at a specific date, to a specific accuracy, on the basis of the brief agreed with you.
Ground conditions change. A survey describes a site as it was on the date of measurement. Using a deliverable for a different purpose, at a different scale, beyond its stated accuracy, after conditions have changed, or by a third party who was not party to the original engagement, is outside its intended use and outside our responsibility.
We do not accept liability for consequences arising from reliance on a deliverable used in a way it was not prepared for.
6. Underground services
We survey what is visible at the surface — chambers, covers, marker posts, poles — and record invert levels where a chamber can be safely opened and measured. We do not provide subsurface utility detection or ground-penetrating radar.
Nothing we supply should be treated as a complete record of buried services. Before excavation, obtain a specialist utility survey and the relevant authorities' records.
7. No professional relationship from browsing
Reading this website, or sending us an enquiry, does not create a professional or contractual relationship between us. A professional relationship begins only when a quotation has been accepted or an agreement signed. See our Terms of Use.
8. References to standards and authorities
Where we mention standards, codes or regulatory bodies, we do so for general context. We are not affiliated with those organisations, and such references do not imply their endorsement, accreditation or approval of our services. Standards are revised; always work from the current published version.
9. Photographs and project material
Images on this site are used to illustrate the type of work described. Unless a caption states otherwise, an image should not be taken as a representation of any specific project, client, site or outcome.
We publish project details only with the client's permission. We do not publish invented projects, fabricated figures or testimonials we have not received.
10. External links
Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We do not control their content, do not endorse it, and are not responsible for it.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for loss or damage arising from reliance on this website's content. Liability in respect of survey services we perform is governed by the agreement for that project.
Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Changes
We may update this disclaimer as our services or the regulatory position change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
